Road Bike: Long Intervals.

We found a nice road for our workout.  Wacousta Road had very light traffic, as much down as uphill and no stop signs to slow us down.

Warmup on the bike.

  • 4 minutes rest in between.

I couldn't hear the ending siren with the phone in my back pocket. I also forgot to reset my bike computer so I could see how far I had gone. With no real feel for distance of 2 miles, I ended up doing the first two intervals with no rest, just 4 extra minutes of pushing it. Yikes!

Maybe that's why my 3rd interval was down. Anyway, I was far away from the start point and our truck, so I did another interval. It turned out alright!
