MotionX-GPS Track: MTB: Yankee Springs Rec Area.

Hello,

Charles uses MotionX-GPS on the iPhone and is sharing with you the following track:

Apr 9, 2012 1:43 pm 55F, WNW 20-30. Our first MTB of the season. Lotsa hills, I made most of them. Drops, I did those alright. In good enough shape to bike the whole thing, but not yet excel. It was fun, though. Best of all, we spent the whole day together.

MotionX-GPS Track: A little test ride.

Hello,

Charles uses MotionX-GPS on the iPhone and is sharing with you the following track:

Apr 6, 2012 5:50 pm 50F, W5-10. I've been thinking about bike camping. This was a ride to check out arm warmers (much nicer but not a complete solution) and panniers (roomy with lots of heel clearance.) I was able to make good time but was slowed down enough so Kirsten could keep up with me. Gearing seemed adequate; I finally had a use for the 2nd chainring. I aim to pack ultralight, but only time will tell if I have enough gears for a full load and all-day hills. Note: I've decided to use miles for biking and running, kilometers for skiing and rowing.
