Chasing Deb
The weather channel said 16mph winds with worse to come, so we ignored the 6am wakeup and reset it for 7. Up at 7 and the trees weren't moving, so we got up, dressed and rushed out to the boats. The water was choppy, but not bad most of the time.
Deb had gotten their foreign students brigade off and rowing and was on the water herself when we arrived. We were out soon after and followed her to the bridge. Deb is getting ready for the Head Of The Charles race in October. She had us pursue her a minute behind from the bridge to the inlet, a 20 minute piece. We never did catch her. Our technique still leaves much to be desired; in the choppy water, that really slowed us down. Still, we got down to a 2:20 split near the end.
